Justice Skolnik has been showing time and time again that he knows how to rework songs from other genres and styles into well balanced dance tunes, but now he’s gone the extra mile and had a go at J. Cole. He’s taken the vocals from J. Cole’s Lights Please and reworked them with his own instrumentation into a style that mixes future Bass with a midtempo Tropical style, which you can be sure would go off at a summer carnival or a pool party in the middle of the day. The verses have been preserved well too, which goes to show that Justice Skolnik knows exactly what he’s doing with each song like this that he puts out. Needless to say, you’d want to check this one out.
