Even though the news that Flume has left What So Not and left it up to his ex-partner Emoh Instead to do the producing himself has long gone, we haven’t actually heard any music from Emoh alone as What So Not given that Flume helped to produce the Gemini EP. That’s changed now, with the release of a remix of the Sydney group’s song Innerbloom. It’s just as good as any other What So Not release, without a change in style or decrease in quality. Essentially this is Chill Trap at its finest, with a drawcard being the slight Asian influences that surface here and there in a melting pot of sounds. Sit back and enjoy this tune – it’s a great one to relax to.
