Skybreak builds it back around a bass patch that will not hold one shape for a full bar, so it stops sounding like a straight 140 beatdown and starts sounding like a machine coming apart on beat. SKisM records tend to survive this kind of surgery. The Stabby rework of Jaguar went at it from another angle, sanding the track down instead of shredding it. Skybreak is meaner about it.
What I like is that he never buries the MCs to prove he can. On a big rig the vocal stays flat and unbothered up top while everything under it comes apart. That contrast is the whole record.
