Back in 2012 when Zedd released the single Clarity, he had no idea that it would blow up to be this big. A year after it was released, Staylo decided to create a trap remix to the track. I love this trap mix because it relies so heavily on percussion instrumentals. I have been listening to this remix nonstop since I found it on Soundcloud. This is the first track by Staylo I have heard, and I cant wait to find more after hearing what he has done to this track.
The original progression of the track is still present, using the same introduction with a quiet beat in the background that quickly grows loud adding more percussion instrumentals. Staylo chops and skews Foxes’ vocals and uses them almost as another synth to layer into the track. The tempo is slowed down which allows for a more relaxed listen.
Give it a listen below thanks to Staylo’s Soundcloud
