Monday, February 29th, On Last Call with Carson Daly, GRiZ was brought on to do a short performance on stage at the Roxy Theatre, in Hollywood. If you couldn’t tell by GRiZ’s happy tweets.
This was a unique performance in that GRiZ performed with a group of live musicians. So instead of just GRiZ on stage or just GRiZ and Mike Avery there was a whole band’s worth of people on stage. Also, instead of just Mike Avery on vocals, GRiZ has a female vocalist singing the supporting lyrics to his single Anthem. The live band includes musicians playing a saxophone, trumpet, drum set, guitar, bass and GRiZ switching between his boards and a second saxophone. The live performance was amazing, and having a whole band support the vocals made it even better. GRiZ needs to do more live performances like this.
