sympL is back in the saddle once again, featuring yet another single off his upcoming album It’s My World And You’re Just Listening To It. The next tease and the album as a whole is more than just a sonic contribution to the hip-hop scene, but a social commentary that’s intense and sporadic all in the same go. Mixing the old school with the modern era, the percussion incorporates the throwback aspect on this song. Technical and meaningful, sympL lays down some thought-provoking bars, exceeding any expectation that could have been set on the track. With the album coming out later this year and now providing a follow up to “Lie To Me,” sympL is in the midst of some epic goodness that’s he’s excited to share with the world.
sympL has done many jobs in the music industry and continues to do so. His values are founded in a DIY sentiment, the solo musician having pride in building things from the ground up. From tours with Wu-Tang Clan’s Cappadonna, Mobb Deep, and many others, he’s been exposed to receptive fanbases which span multiple generations. He took touring and production in his own hands with his company Dropp Science, which still exists today. You can catch sympL on tour this year this via the TourForLife excursion.
