New York house sensation warner case is back and better than ever with the third volume of his renowned EP series “dance music for dancing”. This groundbreaking compilation starts off with “show you how i feel”, an eclectic collab with Carl Chaste. Speaking on the track, case shares, “‘show you how i feel’ explores the fundamental element of dance: the expression of emotion through movement. Sometimes words aren’t enough, sometimes words just aren’t right, and the only way to tell someone how you feel is to move with them. a dance floor connection is unlike any other; it’s sacred and raw, wordless and ancient, pure.”
The following songs in the EP also embody the pure distinct sound that case has cultivated over the years. In “drum baby”, case delivers hypnotic vocals that will make any listener get down on the dance floor. Other anthems like “go go” and “up up in my mind” highlight case’s innovative sound design, featuring groovy basslines and penetrating drums. With the addition of the three remaining house heaters, “dance music for dancing” is a project designed to shock audiences across the world.
This new exciting EP is one of many for the iconic case. While strengthening his production techniques at Cornell University and Jimi Hendrix’s Electric Lady Studios, the prodigal multi-instrumentalist also became an expert in percussion. Since then, he has shared the stage with historic acts, like Dom Dolla, Gorgon City, and Disclosure. Additionally, case has garnered support from Kaskade, Louis The Child, Martin Solveig, and other veteran artists. “dance music for dancing” volume three is another commendable notch on case’s long list of musical achievements.
