Josh Teed creates an exceptional sound that blends electronic production with live instrumentation. A violinist with two decades of experience, he has worked to bridge the gap between classical and modern sounds. His path has taken many turns. From The Journey East and Recurring Dreams to Taking It All In, each project has refined his approach. A fan of fantasy fiction and historical themes, Teed treats his work as a form of sharing a narrative.
2025 is a busy year for Teed. He’s touring with Apashe on the Antagonist 2.0 tour, mixing electronic music with orchestral elements. He’s also joining Daily Bread for the Flash Flood tour. Beyond performing, he’s organizing events featuring artists like Luzcid, Wraz, and Great Dane. With a growing audience and more projects on the way, Teed continues pushing forward.
Josh Teed’s Prologue EP is the start of a larger project with Kannibalen Records. This release introduces a story that will unfold throughout the year. The opening track, “A Journey Begins,” builds with strings, piano, and soft vocals. “Animus,” a collaboration with Abstrakt Sonance, brings a darker, bass-driven shift. The final track, “The Fray,” combines orchestral elements with deep bass. Prologue lays the groundwork for what’s ahead, pulling listeners into the next chapter.
