The tribal vibes set the tone right from the get go. They bring you in and you cannot help but start to groove to them, swaying and stomping your feet. Even in a comfy computer chair. The quiet intro of the vocals allows them to be supportive to begin with rather than the focus, the music is more important in that instant because Delta House is forging a musical relationship with the listener. A little later we are introduced to the vocals properly and they lead perfectly into the climb of the song.
The drop is heavy in terms of the bass that really begins right after it, but I am entranced with the melody that continually changes, keeping me on my feet, wanting more. The bass grounds me in reality when it reverberates through my chest, becoming physical. I love the light and simple vocals, they do not overwhelm with some hidden meaning but rather grab hold of the listener and remind them of a reality where they are both lost and found.
I’ll admit I was hesitant seeing a big-room house designation, but this is the type of big-room that I want to hear at a club or festival. It is by no means generic or overplayed. you feel the bass throughout the song and the tribal atmosphere keeps you moving to the ever-changing melodies. This is an incredible remix by Delta House to an original that would be hard to improve on. Make sure you listen for yourself and don’t be afraid to dance, even if you’re in a computer chair like me. The song is also a free download to sweeten the deal even more!
