It’s well known that Steve Aoki is very good friends with Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda, and they have just released another collaboration after 2013’s A Light That Never Comes. Darker Than Blood is, well, darker than a lot of Steve Aoki’s music, and is a fusion between the producer and band’s styles. The three drops aren’t the major focus of the song, with the vocals and bassline in between giving the song another life beyond being just another Aoki Electro House banger. It is the second single from his next album Neon Future II, due out on May 12, which he has said will have a darker, less pop-oriented style than Neon Future I. Get excited for Steve Aoki’s third album and have a listen!
