Remixing Kanye, better hope he doesn’t troll back.
The hip hop beats are complimented well with a distinct progressive/big room/electro type bounce that crowds will absolutely love. I can already feel myself beginning to shuffle to this bootleg and we are only a minute or so in. With any remix, there is a a point when there is either too much of the original track, or not nearly enough. With “All Day’ Damien has found the right balance in between, keeping the Kanye vocals and the original beats around them, while filling everything in between with melodic synths that will have you exhausted from dancing so much.
It is always great to see a song from another genre be remixed and turn out so well. Crossing genres can be difficult at best and impossible at times, but here we see Damien execute that transition with practiced ease. I would love to hear this dropped in the middle of a festival set, preferably one inside a tent with tons of lasers. Can someone make this happen and call me with a place? It is great to see that rap and electronic music can still be combined in interesting ways to produce tracks that change from the distinct hip-hop and rap style, to something purely electronic while hitting everything in between.
Make sure you check out the song for yourself as it has JUST been released!!! Find somewhere to listen, lace up your shoes and turn this track up. Loud.
Keep dancing my friends, I know I will.
