Heavy Dubstep producer Extra Terra is becoming known for his ear-splitting, mind-bending wubs, bass and growls, but has just released a song that shows that he isn’t a one trick pony. Omega is a Trap tune that begins with a deep sub bass and foreshadows a heavy Dubstep drop, but this doesn’t eventuate as it instead drops into Trap. The 808s are still heavy and the occasional growls keep it close to Extra Terra’s style, but the lead synth progression is a lot lighter than his previous work. It’s catchy and danceable but pales in comparison to the second drop, which is surprise Drum and Bass that you just know will make any dancefloor explode. It switches back to Trap and then finishes, with the surprisingly innocent outro leaving you wanting more – especially that Drum and Bass part. Get a load of this one and have a listen below.
