Progressive house tends to be much more about the crowd, the hype, the energy, and getting people dancing. Nigel Good decided to take that, and do whatever the hell he wanted by combining uplifting melodies and euphoria vocals to create an ambiance that would serve a small crowd as they slowly danced their way into bliss. The progressive beats drop in, but they are not loud in your face. The vocals here are much more important and prominent and give listeners the sense that this music is not only beautiful, but it means far more emotionally than just pumping up the crowd.
With a first track like this, it is no doubt that we will see Nigel Good again and hopefully he will show us again what beautiful music truly sounds like. Listen to “No Way Back Up” featuring Illuminor below!
