Rock isn’t exactly the style that you’d expect to come from the most famous French artist in dance music, but the follow up to their smash album in Discovery was just that. And impressively, it’s well and truly in their style as well. It’s simple yet catchy, and the sound of the guitars is nothing short of amazing. The vocoder fits in seamlessly too – in fact, for a song that’s so rough around the edges it manages to be seamless throughout. They really don’t play around with this one – it’s straight into the distorted beauty that’s the larger theme in Human After All, and Robot Rock is one of the key songs that really hammers the concept home.
