Savoy have been on the rise recently, and are keeping that trend going with a new EP: 1000 Years. The Brooklyn-based trio have obviously not been short of ideas in the studio, with styles ranging from dark, industrial techno to begin the EP and light Future Bass to finish it off. The diversity and originality from Savoy in 1000 Years is quite impressive, given that each of the songs are very danceable – I challenge you to not instinctively sing High as can be / Your love is killing me in the final song.
This EP is a sonic journey from start to finish, with as much focus on the drops as there are on all of the other parts of the songs. It seems like every part has a new easter egg waiting for you to hear, which makes 1000 Years a great achievement. Make sure you give it a listen!
