Overjoy has at long last found success on Australia’s Sweat It Out label. The LA-based three-piece group find their heart and soul in a combination of indie/dance that has won them praise from the likes of Tommy Trash and Bag Raiders. The cacophony of sounds that is indie/dance are a perfect mix between danceable electronica beats and the striking sounds of an indie band that you could sit back and listen to with your eyes closed.
“Love For Breakfast” finds our hearts in a story of unrequited love while “Airport Song” tells the story of finding love on a flight. With both of these songs together, Overjoy found the perfect balance between indie and electronica and I think you’ll find them more than just something else to listen to. Check out Breakfast below and let us know what you think!
