I used to know Mike Mago as a champion of deep/future house, but with his latest release, he has shown that he definitely isn’t the kind of guy who stays with one genre without looking what happen in the surrounding world. In ‘Higher’ you’ll find a new Mike (probably thanks to the influence of Leon Lour), producing in full harmony with the latest worldwide trends. He leaves aside for the occasional big deep basses and brasses to shoulder a typical wobbling Future Bass synth, but still managing to perfectly embed it in a ‘canonical’ house-y frame.

The results of the collaboration, widely due to the very ‘pop’ vocal part, is a super happy, carefree and cheerful. The is the kind of song to be sung under the summer sun with your friends while driving together to the beach on the weekend.
