Ultra is now over a week behind us and people are unwinding from the Miami mayhem and preparing themselves for what festival season has to offer next. As we say goodbye to the premier festival in electronic music, we celebrate the official opening of this year’s festival season in America. This season couldn’t have had a better kick off, with previews of some great new music ahead. We re-visited Ultra one last time to check out 10 future anthems to watch. These songs were played during Ultra weekend in several sets, and they are likely to create some buzz over the summer. Keep these songs bookmarked and add them to your playlists.
10. Fedde Le Grand – ‘Don’t Give Up’
You may remember this song from last year’s Ultra live stream. This year it debuted during Fedde’s Ultra set as his next single.
9. Erik Arbores – ‘Galactic’
This track got plenty of love in this year’s Ultra sets. Expect it to reappear at EDC in Las Vegas and New York.
8. Galantis – ‘You’
This track took the party to the next level in several sets, including Kaskade’s much loved set from Day 1. Warning: The more you listen to it, the more addicting it gets.
7. Marc Lawrence – ‘Beautiful’ (Electrocisum Remix)
Much like Fedde Le Grand’s ‘Don’t Give Up’ first teased fans during last year’s live stream, this track by Marc Lawrence held the same role during this year’s live stream. Let’s hope it doesn’t take a year for this one to catch on.
6. NERVO – ‘Forget Who We Are’
The NERVO sisters put on a raging set, and they used the opportunity to premiere one of their new tracks! Could we be witnessing the next ‘We’re All No One’?
5. Marco Santoro – ‘My Body’ (The Cube Guys Mix)
Steve Angello brought the energy with this track that gets the groove going.
4. Duck Sauce – ‘NRG’ (Skrillex, Kill the Noise, Milo & Otis Remix)
This remix is edgy and refreshing! We’re so glad Jack U gave this song some promotion during their Ultra set!
3. Kaskade & Thomas Sagstad vs. Morning Parade – ‘Under the Stars’
Again, another great track to watch comes out of Kaskade’s Ultra set this year. He used this one as his set opener, and he couldn’t have kicked off his little party in a better way.
2. Eric Prydz – ‘Liberate’
Pryda knows how to churn out the best quality tunes, and this one was no exception. This melodic song is a sign that summer isn’t too far away.
1. Mutiny UK & Steve Mac featuring Nate James – ‘Feel the Pressure’ (Axwell & NEW_ID Remix)
Songs like this only come once a year, if even that often. This is one of those instant energizers, and we’re so glad we got a taste of it last weekend at Ultra! This masterpiece requires a road trip with the windows down.
