It’s been an entire year since Crystal Skies’ last EP, but they’re finally back and delivering the goods in an epic sonic journey through Melodic Dubstep. Serenity, Finally Home and Above all feature fantastic vocals that give each song a personality, however the focus is on the drops, all of which are the type of Melodic Dubstep goes hard and fills your ears with layered synths that are bliss to experience. Finally Home brings a bit of Electro House too, and Be Still is a chill interlude that gives you a rest before they hit you with Above, the final song of the EP. Crystal Skies are like Adventure Club – they don’t release music often, but when they do it’s amazing Dubstep that you just can’t miss out on. Hopefully we hear more from them soon, but in the meantime wrap your ears around this incredible EP.
