Opiuo is a week and a bit away from releasing his third album, Omniversal, and its imminent release could not be any more exciting given the second single that he’s released from it. Jelly features earthy vocals and seamless instrumentation from Texture Like Sun, and a lead sax that would fit right in at a Jazz club – except this is funkadelic Glitch Hop, not Jazz. Opiuo nails it from the production perspective, hitting the bouncy and catchy vibe that makes all of his songs uniquely Opiuo. If you’re unacquainted with Opiuo let Jelly acquaint you before Omniversal comes out, because he knows how to make some seriously good music.
