18 year old Teminite has come of age, releasing his first album after a slew of EPs, singles and remixes over the last few years. The album is 10 songs strong, starting off with Dubstep and progressing to Glitch Hop, with most of the songs featuring his synth and melody production style, all with extended drops for the extra juice that his production skills cover anyway.
As it starts to get a little bit repetitive near the end of the album though, he closes off with two songs that completely switch it up and will blow you away. Step Into The Light and Everytime I Look Into The Sky both feature Jonah Hitchens on vocals, and would both be right at home on the radio. The former has a swing style that doesn’t sacrifice Teminite’s gift for melodies, and the album closer is a bit more laid back but carries a funk style that’s just as good for dancing as it is easy listening. The beauty with those two songs is that they could easily have been composed and played by a live band, which is impressive for a producer whose music usually sounds very electronic. Give Teminite the support that he deserves and listen to the album below, and if you like it you can download it on his Bandcamp.
