Never Say Die Records is known for their heavy dubstep and their roster of heavy hitting artists is nothing new to the ears. Well this time we got blessed with a brand new Ep by none other than Twine! This new ‘Strung Out’ Ep will blow your eardrums away with the heavy bass that it brings. Twine has kept under the radar lately minus dropping a Kill The Noise remix two weeks ago and I am extremely excited to see him back at it killing it once again. This Ep is truly special in that, it doesn’t just stick to one certain genre. Twine really loves to experiment around and try new sounds out. He is really one of the most versatile producers in the game right now because of this. For example in the #Copyright Vip, we get to hear him mix around with Electro house and it really ended sounding incredible.
The first song on the Ep is titled triggered, and can I just say that title does not lie. This song is bringing the heat and that’s probably an understatement for this one. It’s not even really possible to compare this track to any other i’ve heard because I would be sitting around for hours trying to think of an answer that I would never get. The second drop in particular is what had me the most excited. Its honestly out of this world how incredible the sound that he made for it. This track really is an excellent way to start off this ep and really got me wanting to listen to the rest of it right off the back.

Twine on this second track the ep titled #Copyright is a little different than the rest of the songs on Strung Out. This one is trap sounding track and what he did on this one was pretty interesting. He actually sampled a few different songs (hence the title) and put them all with an insane drop that really blew me away. This one jumped out at me just by the title itself and after listening to it the first time I was extremely impressed. #Copyright is just another example of how versatile Twine can be and this song definitely shows it.

This next track Crash Report is a collaboration with the one and only Dr. Ozi. These two guys absolutely ripped this track apart in the best way possible. Dr. Ozi is just coming off of a Never Say Die ep release of his own titled ‘Stampede’ and it’s clear to the eye that he wasn’t finished with just that. The combo of heavy hitting bass and drum from these two makes this track one that you can’t skip past ever. I would probably have to say this is the heaviest track on the entire ep. Definitely a really job done on this one by both Twine and Dr. Ozi.

My Sound is the fourth track on the Strung Out Ep and this one just as it says in the song, this track has a heavy weight sound. It starts with a slow reggae type of vibe to it and then just drops into a massively heavy drop. I love how this track has a completely different type of leadup compared to any of the other four tracks. Twine showing once again how diverse he is and how he can basically make any type of sound and bring it all together for one absolutely head crushing tune.

So the final track on this heavy hitting ep is actually something new from Twine that I really think he did an incredible job with. The #Copyright VIP is actually an electro house track like I stated before and this one here is honestly my favorite track on the entire project. I love it when artists break out of their comfort zone and produce something that’s not what we’re used to hearing from them. Twine was able to make this track flow so perfectly and turned it into something completely different than the original #Copyright. Overall this Ep is an extremely well done piece of work by Twine and I don’t expect anything less coming from Never Say Die.
