AGNT is Announced as New DJ Booking Platform

AGNT was announced June 14^th in Las Vegas, NC at the EDMBiz Conference and Expo. The program is created by three EDM industry veterans (and pros), Viet Nguyen, David Nguyen, and Mike Henderson. The platform is a marketplace for DJ’s and organizers to connect easier to create more fluidity in events for both the United States and Canada.

Some information about the creators of AGNT:

• Viet Nguyen has 17 years in IT, talent buying, and DJing in West Canada.
• David Nguyen – Has extensive background in using UX and graphic design in branding. He also has experience in mobile and web design.
• Mike Henderson – has 17 years of experience in DJing and being a tour manager. He is a Native Instruments Traktor Trainor and Dubspot DJ School instructor.

To sign up for this free service, all a DJ or an event organizer needs is their email or Facebook login. The web portal for the platform is compatible to work on any device; PC, Apple, or android. After signing up, the platform can promote DJ’s, connect DJ’s and organizers, broker deals, and filter through information for both parties.

Benefits for DJ’s:

• AGNT contains a built-in music player to feature sets that the DJ creates.
• Allows for customizable profiles that include:
  • Biography and background
  • Links for portfolios
  • A list of equipment required
  • The DJ’s price range
  • A calendar for availability
  • Social media outreach
  • Cancellation policies
    (To name a few
• Allows for DJ’s to see upcoming event listings and filter through these.
• Allows for DJ’s to contact interest to a list of events.

Benefits for Organizers:

• Bookings can be done by allowing searches based off of:
  • DJ location
  • Genre of music
  • Date of event
  • Price range
• Reviews of DJ’s are on the site, assumed to be by other event organizers and verified by the platform.

Benefits for both parties:

• The website handles all logistics including:
  • Event requirements
  • Price negotiation
  • Secure payment set up

AGNT’s service fee will by between 6% and 10% for coordinating payments

The platform has already started partnering with Canadian Festivals like Center of Gravity in Kelowna, Chasing Summer in Calgary and Wasaga in Ontario. Profiles can be made online at AGNT.com or on the iOS mobile app.
