What do you get when you combine a “brasshouse” trio and a beloved producer? You get the unique instrumental track, Jorts FTW.
Kaskade called upon the New York-based trio Too Many Zooz, who are known most for their subway videos. to create a track that takes his skill set as well as their skills with a trumpet, saxophone and drum. When talking about the track, Kaskade stated,
“When I saw and heard this video of Too Many Zooz playing in a New York subway, I knew I wanted to work with them. This energy they had was ridiculous.”
Kaskade saw the possibility for energy and he was not wrong. He thought that the videos showed that they had energy but he stated, “.. that energy I saw on the video was amplified in person, in the studio. It just moves through them.”
This song, according to Kaskade, will work wherever you listen to it. And after listening to it a couple of times, I have to agree. You can get the track on iTunes here or check out the music video below.
