When we were at Moonrise Festival, we had the chance to sit down with Shaun Frank after his fantastic set. We were dancing off on the side and really watch him put in the passion. Afterwards, we discussed him being apart of process of producing “Closer” by The Chainsmokers. At that time, it had reached number one briefly (before returning to the top of the charts) and he had played his remix of the track. We asked Shaun Frank his process of creating tracks and what is next. We’re learned that he’s focusing more on original tracks and taking a break from collaborations which includes his upcoming track, “Let You Get Away” featuring Ashe. From there, he talked about how much hustle he has put in and how crazy the whole process of becoming bigger and bigger. He put emphasis on having a team surrounding him and how it is about the grind. We asked a few things regarding what up-and-coming producers can learn. It was a great time. We thank him for his time and enjoy the whole thing below!
