It seemed like it took forever for Mat Zo to release his astounding second studio album Self Assemble, and afterwards he stated that that album was a send off of sorts. Well, five months later he’s already made an EP, and as we’ve come to expect from the producer extraordinaire it’s different, but in a good way. The three songs are slower and heavier, but they’re also complete and considered. Like the EP’s name, the general vibe across the music is a psychedelic style, with combinations of Trap, Dubstep and Drum and Bass in all three songs as well as some seriously catchy production that manages to not overstate itself either.
Mat Zo is combining this EP with a tour across North America, so get excited because he’s obviously got a fair few cards up his sleeve as well as three brand new absolute tunes. You can listen to the EP below.
