Goldlink, Marsha Ambrosius, and Anderson .Paak have brought us this beautifully done track. With such a warm bassline and well-done vocal track, it’s hard not to like this song. Three very talented artists came together for this track and ended up creating a masterpiece. While pt 1 wasn’t specifically too different from this song, pt 2 added vocals from Anderson .Paak and Marsha Ambrosius, which was a very good move on Goldlink’s behalf. According to an interview done by Saint Heron, Goldlink describes Marsha’s verse as adding “a certain balance and flavor to the song that only a woman could provide”. Getting to hear two different sex’s take on their relationships is really interesting and a very clever approach, and Goldlink and Marsha do a fantastic job of portraying that. Go ahead and give it a listen yourself and tell us what you think!
