Another week, another banger from someone who means what me says in the song title. Anikdote has absolutely killed Imma Killa, wasting no time in crafting a gripping build up, before dropping into a beat that’s just as hard as you’ll find it to categorise. Trap eventually gives way to a double time style that you probably won’t have ever heard before, and moves so cleanly that you realise that you could dance to it forever. Another chapter in a series of massive releases on No Copyright Sounds has raised Anikdote’s standard higher, even though that probably wasn’t possible given the quality of every single release this year. Imma Killa is not a tune to miss out on, and you can fix that by giving it a listen right here.
