While playing at festivals such as Imagine Music Festival, Zen Awakening, and shows all across the country, Levitation Jones has proven he has what it takes to continuously blow expectations out of the water and think outside of the box. A relatively new name on the bass music scene, Orchestrobe, has joined forces with Levitation to bring one of the most mind boggling, time warping Eps of the year, “Fuzzy Muffler.” This EP is comprised of 5 all original, unique tunes from both artists. Along with these all original tracks a remix from the king of the underground himself, Yheti.
“Arbor Park” by Levitation Jones starts off the EP with frequencies that will tone you in, followed by an oh-so strange, but delightfully weird mood setting beat with added melodic flow preparing you for the depths of the unknown. Up next, “Mariana,” by Orchestrobe keeps the dark trek into deep unknown flowing. This track immediately prepares your mind be bent into new dimensions and ensues to do so. The next track, “Banshee,” by Levitation Jones is where things start to get extremely wonky. A simple beat leads into those Levitation womps and wubs we all love. While combining rhythms and dark melodies, this one is sure to spin your head in circles. The name of the 4th track on the EP, “Monster Plop,” by Orchestrobe, pretty much speaks for its self. The last original, and arguably the best, “Fuzzy Muffler” is a collaboration between Levitation and Orchestrobe. This track will have your mind puddled on the dance floor before its even over. Ending out the EP, the legend himself, Yheti, throws in a remix of the all original by Levitation, “Banshee.” Taking an already distinctively unique track, and adding an even crazier spin, we’ll weeble and wobble to this one until we all fall down.
