Whenever Proxima makes a halftime DnB tune, you know that you’re in for a hell of a ride. Know that halftime tunes made by Proxima will always feature some insane sound design, and Closely is one of his best yet. The intro doesn’t foreshadow what’s to come in any way, but when the drop happens you’re almost guaranteed to be blown away by the sounds that come though, especially given the amount of bass that Proxima has managed to hide underneath it all.
Thought he was done with that? Well he wasn’t, and the second halves of the drops add a swing to the style that switches the way that you’d dance to it from head banging to actually moving with the beat. Then at the end of the song he strips it all away to leave you with more bass, which ends the song on a very fulfilling note.
Closely is a massive win for Proxima, who yet again has created a slower, yet harder tune that will get crowds on the floor. It’s a part of Blackout Music’s Evolutions 3 EP, and you can listen to Closely below as well as download the EP.
