With releases on Monstercat, Heroic Recordings, and more, WRLD has a very consistent streak of releasing carefree and timeless hits time and time again. “Chase It (feat. Savoi)” has to be one of my favorite Monstercat releases of all time, so seeing that the two came together for another track is exciting due to how good the past production was.
With this being WRLD’s first release of 2017, he is really pushing boundaries right off the bat. The crisp vocals mending with an upbeat and jovial melody go together so effortlessly. The lively tempo of the track gives us that pure and spontaneous rush of emotions that comes when you hear deep soulful tracks. Kudos to Savoi for bringing that raw energy, the dude has constantly been featured on tracks all over and he deserves a lot of credit as well.
