Got an urgent need for fresh deep UK style beats and bass? Well, Tru Fonix and Saucy Records have got you covered with their latest release. Most forms of bass music are given nods across the EP, with the forward thinking title track getting straight down to business with sound design designed to get small rooms jumping. Next up is a remix of LO, by fast-rising South African producer Chee. He flips the song into a style that’s much more beats oriented, and is brimming with bass. Much more so than the original too, which is impressive. Permutation plays with sound design too, however leans towards Breaks as well as Deep House.
Solarised sees Culprate join the party, and take the EP deeper and darker than it ever was before, towards the subs region. It’s something else, and is exactly what underground bass and house lovers would be looking for. Klax’s remix of Solarised finishes off the EP, with a glitchy halftime style that is just as catchy as it is heavy. It wouldn’t be surprising to see this EP get picked up by the underground more so than the mainstream, but with that being said the compositions inside are absolute quality.
