Brazilian powerhouse Ricci exploded onto huge label Monstercat with his collaboration with Candyland, Touch Me. Now he’s back, with quite possibly the most divisive tune of the year. It seems that some people love it, and others hate it. Personally, I love this. Boom combines experimentation with samples with an infectious bass line and beat that will make you want to jump along, and mosh up the place and make it boom, boom boom. With an exceptionally weird video to go along with it, either you’ll find yourself agreeing that this is a seriously good example of Deep House, or wondering why you’ve read this far. I hope it’s the former.
