Bro Safari has been touring like crazy. He hasn’t been making tracks. With this understood, he has decided to take all of his old tracks that were half finished and finish them. These tracks are the ones he will release to us for free! It starts with this tracked titled “Bender.” For a track that has just been sitting, I wish he finished it earlier because I am loving the hell out of it. You will love it to. Here is Nick’s message about the track, about the future, and a possible EP / album.
Here’s the story…
I’m currently brushing the cobwebs off of my studio gear. I spent the last year or more touring heavily and I simply haven’t had that much time to work on music. When I’m home, in between gigs, I spend most of my time with my family.
Now, I finally have some time off for the road and I’m hitting the studio as hard as I possibly can. My main goal is to come up with a comprehensive body of work, like an EP or potentially even an album. I don’t want to commit to what it is until I get some more ideas going, but the wheels are turning and I’ve got some really cool songs in the works.
In the meantime, I thought it would be a good idea to take as many of the half finished songs on my hard drive that I can and finish them up, and give them to you guys for free. This tune here, Bender, is a song that I started during last year’s Animal House tour. I got back around to it recently and I just put the finishing touches on it. I’m hopeful that I can knock these songs out and continuously give you guys free music again, on a consistent basis. That’s how I started this project and that’s how I want to keep it. No hurdles, no bullshit… Just easy access to music.
That being said, this is my first offering. It’s a bit different for me in that I wanted to make a tune with a bit of a deeper vibe. It may not be a “peak-hour-edm-banger” or whatever, but I like it, and I hope you do too!
