It’s the turn of oddprophet to present his own EP on Never Say Die. After appearing on the dubstep label’s “Vol.5” compilation, he comes armed with a four-track powerhouse titled Precognition. He may only be near the start of his career, but he’s certainly show insane skills with this one.
Just a minute into “Check” and you know he means business. Tons of atmosphere and old school rave-style builds create tension and are the ideal lead into “Never Knew.” This carries anthemic status with pitched vocals and tempo switches – we’re sold. The title track is more of a typical dubstep sound and “Listen” rounds this off with ferocious rhythms and snapping interjections.
