“Pride” beings a 7-track journey through the ‘7 Deadly Sins,’ a reference to Dante’s Inferno which is a classical literature novel with Judeo-Christian influences inspiring awareness of evil through a story-telling mechanisms. “Pride,” embraces the dark moods and transitional tempos the ever-growing and ever-popular experimental bass genre commonly embraces. A thick percussion sample choice and a warped-but-right sense of how one should in-take what a song is, the expression and examination in this one is ripe.
“Greed” is set to be the next single out following this one, as congruency plays more of a role in O Cinnedi’s vision here under this somewhat just-starting-out alias.
A few songs deep as O Cinnedi but with plenty more to come, “Pride,” is the start to something extensive and well put together.
