Up and coming underground producers AGLORY have just released their Mort EP, and as they say themselves, they’ve mastered the dark arts. Mort is dark art. That being said, each song on the EP is almost ridiculously catchy. Itc, the first song, is a techno cruncher with a moody melody that will have you hooked within the first minute. Abattoir is similar, except a lot more jarring. Mort goes into true deep, dark Techno territory and will please a lot of Techno fans, as does the final song Wasted. The darkness of AGLORY’s style is likely to be polarising among those who are and aren’t familiar with that sort of style, but for those who enjoy the darkness the Mort EP will be exactly what you need.
