As soon as the song begins it is very apparent that Matt strayed far from the original sound of this track, bringing us a much darker feeling. The only component of this track that is even slightly reminiscent of the original song is the usage of Trevor Guthrie’s vocals. Lange’s remix is full of deep synths over thumping kicks, sharp hi-hats, and crisp claps which creates the feeling of a late night club. If you were a fan of the original song then this remix will be a refreshing change of pace, and an absolute must listen.
