Having known about ARMNHMR for a while I’d put them into a box as pretty good Trap producers, but their most recent release has had me eating my words big time. They’ve teamed up with Fifths to remix their own song, Fallen, and it’s completely different to the original. It’s Liquid Drum and Bass, and it’s just as good as if a seasoned producer of that genre had made it. At seven minutes long they aren’t messing around either, with an attacking beat but laid back vibes behind it that capture the essence of the genre. ARMNHMR and Fifths have outdone themselves here, and I for one will never put artists in genre boxes again.
