Sounding ethereal and beautiful in equal measure this week is the debut EP from Iceland’s Áslaug, and it has been in the works for some time. Out of the four tracks, she has included brand new single “In My Head,” which is exactly the kind of uplifting power pop we all need right now.
The EP is self-titled and shows off her skills as a writer, singer and producer respectively. From the subtly “If You Will/Hollow” to the emotionally searching “Take From Me,” which was a previously released single, Áslaug delivers on all fronts with this raw yet beguiling collection.
She’s one of Deezer’s Next artists in 2020 and we can’t wait to hear more. Stream her EP below.
