For the past year or so, Axwell has busy making music with Sebastian Ingrosso for their duo group Axwell Λ Ingrosso. Even though they have been working hard to put out amazing new songs together, both artists have also been working on their own tracks.
The latest example of this is the new single Axwell released on March 4th entitled “Barricade”. Its time for DJs to start choosing the tracks that they are going to add to their sets this Festival Season, and Acwell made sure to make a track that catches the attention of all dance music DJs. Axwell has a set of synths that he prefers to use in his music, and you can hear that he sticks to those in this latest track.
This vocal track is beautifully written, using old school Swedish House Mafia techno to build to an amazing drop. After the drop there is even a lull that builds the beat back up as if the track was being played life.
