Melbourne-based producer Aydose is joining forces with Treats MC for his Grand Alliance Music debut “Doof Science,” now officially out. The anticipated single marks their first official collaboration after exciting audiences with their dynamic live performances throughout the past year.
“Doof Science” showcases Aydose’s signature production style, blending orchestral elements with heavy bass in a tribute to Australia’s vibrant outdoor electronic music culture. The track’s title playfully references “doof”—Australian slang for pop-up festivals and raves—showing off the producer’s passion for dance parties and bass-heavy electronic sounds.
Formerly known as SureShot in New Zealand, Aydose has staked his claim in Melbourne’s bass music scene through his genre-spanning approach.
The collaboration features Treats MC’s vocals excellence with lyrics exploring festival culture and the expansive electronic music community. Their creative partnership emerged organically from Australia’s thriving bass music scene, with Aydose’s technical production providing the perfect foundation for Treats MC’s energetic delivery.
“This collaboration is a great representation of where Australian and bass music in general is heading,” said Will Glazier, Owner of Grand Alliance Music. “It’s technical, forward-thinking, and deeply rooted in this multi-faceted and unique electronic music culture.”
Aydose brings considerable experience to the partnership, including a decade of running underground bass events in New Zealand and 14 years of global radio broadcasting.
