Aide begins with chants and percussion that immediately makes me think of an anthem for a country that would be played at the Olympics. The beat drops and turns from national anthem, to trap anthem as the signature trap sound begins to play.
I love how the song switches things up and the rhythm changes between slow and deliberate to fast and seemingly out-of-control. Aide is definitely a track you’ll need to listen to a few times before you’ll get the full impact. The song does not come at the listener hard and fast but rather invites them in to listen and enjoy themselves. Some music tries too hard to get people to enjoy themselves, while Bang La Decks have produced a track that you want to listen to again and again.
