BeachGlow Shifts Their Mission to Something Bigger for the Philadelphia Community

February 26, 2017 by Grant Austin

BeachGlow Music Festival is by far one of our favorite events that we attend and support. Started in 2011, they have combined electronic dance music and pop in order to help support the arts. Each year, they have chosen a different charity related to music in the local area to support. Now, BeachGlow is shifting their mission. They are going to provide a platform to feature new or up-and-coming local talent. On top of that, they’ll be focusing on Philadelphia’s grade school and high school students to advocate the importance of keeping the arts in educational curriculum. Finally, with the money they raise and the awareness, they’ll help provide the tools needed to make an arts education accessible to all.

Started by Dane Kunkel and ran by his family as well as many others now, they are doing a great service for my area. The video below shows what they are doing and plan to do. Lookout for the cameos by Gazzo and Almand who have both performed in past festivals.

Individuals can help by going to their website to contribute to the BeachGlow cause. If you’d like to become corporate sponsor of BeachGlow – reach out to us at reach out to them!
