What a debut. Blinding is a four piece group that has just come out and dropped an intensely emotional tune, called Breathe Out. They take the Future Garage style that Burial pioneered and add a whirring bass undercurrent and vocals to the mix, and does it work well or what? The start teases what’s to come underneath the atmospherics, and when it does happen the emotion is brought out almost immediately. The quality of the production will impress you, but what really matters is the dark and moody vibes. They’re what make the song stand out, and with the textures that the group have managed to achieve it will be very interesting to see where they go. Especially given that they plan on releasing a song every two weeks for the first half of this year. Give Breathe Out a listen, and don’t forget to breathe out while you listen.
