Just a few days ago, a thought popped into my head: What happened to The Bloody Beetroots? Made famous in 2010 with their smash collaboration with Steve Aoki, Warp 1.9, the Beetroots became one of the biggest names in electronic music out of Italy. The last music that came out under the name was in 2013. Four years ago. In 2015, Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo (the force behind The Bloody Beetroots) announced a hiatus for The Bloody Beetroots and that instead he would be focusing on his SBCR project. A year ago, he released the third EP of his collaborative project under that name. Then, nothing.
No new music. No remixes. No announcements. Until now.
The Bloody Beetroots are back! With simultaneous posts on Facebook and Twitter, he has announced that The Bloody Beetroots have got something coming very soon. His website has been updated too. Could it be new music? Shows? Collaboration with Deadpool? Something else? We may not know now unfortunately, but the good news is that we won’t have to wait long until we know more about this exciting announcement. Stay tuned for more, and in the mean time get a load of the sound design in this teaser.
