Lately, it doesn’t seem if many people are a fan of David Guetta. I understand why, but I don’t bother with the nonsense. This recreation of Charles & Eddie’s “Would I Lie To You” with Cedric Gervais is a perfect way to start the fall semester. The disco-esque track that is super funky with the guitar and keyboard is shamelessly fun!
Chris Willis provides the vocals which are so perfect for the collaboration that I became obsessed with the track. The three of them managed to keep the originality, but do a fantastic recreation for this year. I know this is going to be on many people’s playlists and college kids everywhere will sing along.
