The great thing about classics is that they often lend themselves to some inspired remix work, which is exactly what has happened with Hex Cougar’s remake of Raise Your Weapon. The intro is nothing short of astounding, with effects put on most parts of the original to make it sound completely different, in a way that’s just as emotional as the original. Then it builds and it drops, and words can’t describe what you’ll hear. It’s a euphoric mix of Trap with Drum and Bass breaks in between, and you won’t be able to get enough of it.
Then there’s the second drop. It’s completely different. It’s like what Noisia would make if they made more Dubstep than Drum and Bass. So you’ll know what I mean when I say that it’s next level, with bass that will blow you away. Seriously, get on this tune, it might just be one of the best Trap remixes of Deadmau5 that you’ll hear.
