The first remix of VanessaMichaels 2090 remix series is the ultimate classic, Destiny’s Child- “Say My Name”. As a kid who grew up calling in to radio stations and requesting music right around the time this track came out, I love that 90’s and early 00’s music is coming back and being remixed.
VanessaMichaels takes this classic and puts a Jersey Club spin on it that I find absolutely fascinating. It seems to speed up the tempo, while the vocals stay unchanged and beautiful as ever. The bass here is quick and sounds a tad modulated to give dance music fans their bass fix. Check out the track below and keep an eye out for more tracks in the 2090 remix series.
