Listening to this track, the intro got me very concerned that this was just going to try to copy The Chainsmokers. However, Digital Farm Animals and Hailee Steinfeld took the track in their own directions making an almost 21st century pop love song for fans who are just transitioning and ‘dipping their toes’ into the EDM scene. Steinfeld has this beautiful voice that encourages singing along and the lyrics are going to be fun for people to sing along to when they hear the song on the radio. For those that like a separation of the “main stream” and their EDM, this will not be the song for you. However, this will be a fun song for people who are just trying out different and new artists based off of Pop preferences. (Remember we write for everyone, because music is for everyone)
